Interdisciplinary Center for
Minimally Invasive and Robotic
Surgery

We work as a team – together at the operating table,
in preoperative diagnostics, and in postoperative care.
Twice as much experience and two expert opinions ensure
maximum safety in every procedure.
Complex decisions are reviewed when necessary:
we cooperate continuously, complementing our professional expertise.
For years, we have focused on minimally invasive surgical methods.
The targeted use of robot-assisted technology enables
the highest precision through 3D vision and flexible instruments.
The combination of medical expertise, modern technology,
and compassionate care allows for individualized treatment decisions
and truly patient-centered care.

Priv.-Doz. Dr. Bernhard Dauser, MBA, FEBS is among the leading national and international experts in the field of minimally invasive treatment of colorectal diseases and functional abdominal wall reconstruction through his scientific work and clinical focus.
Since 2017, Dr. Dauser has been using robotic systems (da Vinci), among others, to minimize surgical trauma as much as possible.

Dr. Elisabeth Kirchner, MBA is a recognized expert in the surgical treatment of gynecological and general surgical conditions.
Thanks to her dual specialization and many years of experience at centers with oncological and functional-reconstructive focus, her range of services covers the entire spectrum of operative gynecology and general surgery, including transvaginal, endoscopic, open, and minimally invasive techniques.
In addition, Dr. Kirchner has been using robotic systems (da Vinci) since 2016.
Operations for gallbladder diseases (gallstones, chronic inflammation, polyps)
Treatment of inguinal and incisional hernias using open and minimally invasive techniques (including robotic procedures)
Minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery for inflammatory and malignant diseases (diverticulitis, colon and rectal cancer)
Minimally invasive and robotic reconstructive pelvic floor surgery (rectal prolapse)
Minimally invasive and robotic gastric surgery (for reflux disease as well as benign and malignant gastric tumors)
Hand surgery (ganglion cysts, trigger finger, carpal tunnel syndrome)
Proctologic procedures (surgical treatment of hemorrhoids, fissures, skin tags, anal fistulas)
Minimally invasive and robotic procedures for diseases of the uterus and ovaries
Vaginal and robotic reconstructive pelvic floor surgery for prolapse and descent disorders
Gastroscopy
Colonoscopy (screening, intervention including polyp removal)
ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography for the treatment of gallstone disease)
Stents (entire gastrointestinal tract)
We work with a da Vinci Xi robotic system of the 4th generation. It can be used for the following indications:
Repair of inguinal hernias
Repair of abdominal wall hernias (umbilical/incisional hernias)
Reconstruction of the abdominal wall in large and complex hernias
Treatment of benign and malignant stomach diseases (reflux surgery, oncologic resection for carcinoma)
Treatment of inflammatory and malignant intestinal diseases (diverticulitis, colon and rectal cancer)
Interdisciplinary reconstructive pelvic floor surgery (prolapse and descent repair, rectal prolapse)
Treatment of diseases of the uterus and ovaries

It is important to provide detailed information about non-surgical treatment options and, if surgery appears necessary, to explain which surgical techniques can be applied.
Due to our broad interdisciplinary expertise, it is also possible to address different medical issues in a single procedure.
We are private doctors and issue invoices according to the effort involved in consultations. You can submit these to your public health insurance provider or private insurance company.
Inpatient services are covered by private health insurance. If you do not have private insurance, we will provide you with a non-binding cost estimate before a planned operation.
Especially following oncological procedures, we are happy to continue accompanying you and will take care of necessary radiological, laboratory, and endoscopic examinations and follow-up checks.
Postoperative wound checks, discussions of histological results, and scheduling of follow-up intervals (for example, after endoscopic polypectomy) can be arranged promptly.
